Matt was first licensed in 1998 and joined the HB team in 1999. He started at the front desk and worked his way to being Agency Principal and co-owner with his wife Danielle. A 1999 graduate of Thomas College with a BS in Business Administration, he also earned his Chartered Property and Casualty (CPCU) designation at the same time. 

A proud graduate of Messalonskee High School class of 1995, Matt is a big supporter of Messo athletics and enjoys cheering the Eagles on from the sidelines. When Matt is not at the office, he enjoys skiing, golfing, boating, and snowmobiling with Danielle. Matt was born and raised in Central Maine and lives on Messalonskee Lake with Danielle and son, Mitchell. In the winter, he spends as much time as he can in Carrabassett Valley playing in the snow.
